The Mars Volta "de-loused in the comatorium"

Didn't really discover this band after they released their second album (but better late than never), it's not electronic music, but anybody should be proud to have beats like this band produce. They also have a fantastic singer that even Soundgarden would be proud of, and the wonderful and catchy melodies is just more than anybody could ask for, so if you like fantastic, energetic and melodic rock (even if you don't) then you need to check out this band.

Xploding Plastix "Amateur girlfriends go proskirt agents"

One of the few Norwegian bands that I really like, and this album just blows me away, beats you only can dream of, lots of details and a very organic and pleasant sound. Most of the tunes might be a little more laid-back than what I usually listen to, but it's something about this album that I just love.

Basement Jaxx "Kish Kash"

Been a fan of Jaxx for a long time, and seems like that won't change any time soon.Cause this new album rocks big time. It's as playful
as ever, (maybe even more) they have got some great singers, and the details on some of the tunes are absolutely stunning. So if you're into clever tunes with fat basslines, energetic beats and super catchy melodies, then I definitely recommend this album.

Lunatic Calm "Breaking point"

This is definitely one of my all-time favorite bands, ever since I first heard "Leave you far behind" from their debut album "Metropol", I was completely sold, they have everything I could want from a band, killer tunes (ofcourse) nasty beats, great vocals, lots of cool and dirty sounds, same energy as a great metal band, and all the sweet details that make these albums last for ages. I would definitely recommend both their albums, but even tho I love the debut, "Breaking point" might be even better, if I had to choose 10 favorite albums, this would be amongst them for sure.
